There’s this amazing noodle bar at Angel called Miso. The service was so-so but that could be because Nick and I ventured in 30 mins after they’d opened and they probably hadn’t started cooking/preparing stuff yet. But they sat us promptly near the front door and we ordered up; Wonton Noodles for me and Pad Thai for Nick.

The Wonton soup had plenty of vegetables to keep a fairly health-conscious person like me happy but there was too much noodles for me (Nick balked and said it was because it was called a Noodle bar). The wonton soup also had a generous amount of sesame oil which gave it plenty of flavour and the wontons were really original (thumbs up for that!). Nick’s Pad Thai was good although it was toned down a little; no spicy kick to it! While we were eating, I commented that the best food in the world is still in Thailand; the food tastes so good and there’s just the right amount of veg, noodles/rice and meat for me. In Singapore, there’s way too much noodles/rice and in England, there’s too much of everything! :P

I’m such a happy kid when I have steaming noodles.

It was good overall and the bill came up to 16 quid for the 2 of us. We had a nice time strolling around Angel before retiring to the car and driving back home. Probably gonna head back there whenever we’re around Angel! :)
